This was the back of my van at the Christmas parade...my kids, Angies kids, One of Del's kids, and Jeremiah & the girls! When they saw us coming, they started chanting: FLIP-FLOP-ERS! FLIP-FLOP-ERS!!!
What a wonderful weekend! Saturday my hubby went with some of his best buddies to 'pick oysters.' I think that's how you say it...Later that evening we had our 2nd oyster roast for the sunday school class. Of course I didn't eat any oysters but had alot of fun opening them up for Scott! It was a really fun time for everyone. Then Sunday after church it was time to get ready for the parade. It rained just about the whole time, but it was such a blast! I got some much needed excercise, too. It was just a really neat bonding experience for us flip-floppers!!! Something I'm sure we'll not forget anytime soon. Then it was back to church last night for children's choir practice. They are getting ready for the big Christmas play next Sunday night and we are very excited about that, too! Overall it was an action packed weekend and I was wore out!!! I spent the day resting and preparing for the next couple weeks which are sure to be just as busy, according to my calender...gotta love it!
